That Look

$85.00

While working at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, I would spend September preparing the lodge for winter, a process that took weeks. Within this period every year, all the brown bears in the area would show up at the lake, looking for one final meal of salmon before heading into the mountains to hibernate. I would spend the evenings patiently floating around the lake, waiting for signs of these bears in the thick brush. Finally, as the painted yellow willows started shaking, and out walked a brown bear. Catching a glimpse of me, his expression told me I needed to keep my distance as he walked along the shore, looking for a salmon to snack on.

Image is printed on a 13”x 19” sheet of Epson Cold Press Natural Fine Art Paper, with a 1” border. Frame not included. Contact for larger custom prints.
